What's On...

Friday August 20th:

  • 10pm. Music in the Marquee. Country music sensation, Declan Nerney will open the 1st night of the festival in style with the launch of his new album. Declan will be joined by friends from the Irish country music scene in a night that is not to be missed. Adm 15 euro

Saturday August 21st:

  • 9:30 am. Round of Golf. The festival golf morning will take place in Longford Golf Club, Saturday morning. Entries are now being accepted and you can contact any committee member for details or to enter.
  • 3:00 pm. Fair Day. The festival moves temporarily to our neighbouring village of Ballinamuck for an olde style Fair Day & Vintage Display. The village promises to be a hive of activity on the day with many traditional crafts being rekindled for demonstration. Bread making, butter making and basket weaving are just a few of the traditional skills that will be on offer, both for visitors to observe and try out. Vintage cars, tractors and motorbikes will be on display with refreshments and entertainment for young and old alike.
  • 10:00pm. Music in the Marquee. Music in the Marquee on Saturday will begin with a warm up from some local talent before the main acts of The Aftermath and Special Guest Mundy take to the stage followed by Top DJs from i102-104 Radio. Adm: 15 euro

Sunday August 22nd:

  • 2:00 pm.  Family Fun Day. The Marquee will transform into a haven of fun and frolics on Sunday when it acts as host to our Festival Family Fun Day. With Bouncing Castles, Face Painting, Bucking Bull, Sumo Wrestler's and many more to be announced, it promises to be a monster fun day to be had by all.
  • 3:00pm. Monster Bingo. The 98 Hall in Ballinamuck will play host to a Monster Bingo on Sunday afternoon with 3,500 euro in prizes.
  • 10:00pm. Music in the Marquee: Bringing the festival to a close in the Marquee Sunday night will be Noel Cassidy and Mick Flavin for over 4 hours of non stop dancing, so get your dancing shoes on!
